Giovanni Marcelli

Chief Executive Officer, Accubid Systems

Former electrical contractor Giovanni Marcelli is the founder and CEO of Accubid Systems. In 1985, Giovanni, disappointed with the software available to contractors, founded Accubid and began developing estimating solutions that work the way contractors do. Giovanni’s commitment to excellence and innovation has made Accubid the leading provider of estimating, billing, and project management software for electrical and mechanical contractors. In 2005, Giovanni was honored with the Independent Electrical Contractors Association’s National Industry Achievement Award for outstanding contributions to the electrical industry.

Al Ricci

Chief Sales & Services Officer, Co-President

Al Ricci joined Accubid as a Product Support representative in 1995, and quickly worked his way up the ranks to Product Support Supervisor, then Manager of Product Support and IT, and finally to General Manager of Operations. Currently, Al is Chief Sales & Services Officer. His responsibilities include the Sales, Product Support, Education & Training departments. Al’s professional education includes a business diploma from Seneca College in Toronto.

Justin Emmanuel

Chief Financial Officer, Co-President

Justin Emmanuel, Chief Financial Officer of Accubid Systems Ltd., has a strong financial educational background, having earned designations as Chartered Management Accountant (United Kingdom), Certified General Accountant (Canada), and Certified Public Accountant (USA). Justin began working at Accubid Systems in 1987 as an accounting software trainer and later become the Controller and then Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Accubid, he was employed by a firm of chartered accountants as an auditor and also worked as a consultant with the International Monetary Fund, monitoring overseas development projects.

Mark Mandarelli

Chief Products & Technology Officer, Co-President

Mark Mandarelli, Accubid’s Chief Products & Technology Officer, has served in several roles after joining Accubid with a BSc in Computer Science from York University. Starting as a support representative, Mark moved into IT and became the IT Manager before also assuming responsibility for the Client Support department. Now, as Chief Products & Technology Officer, Mark is responsible for planning and co-ordinating the development and testing of Accubid’s software solutions. Mark is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MSCE) and is currently working on a MBA from Athabasca University.

Ron King

Vice President, Mechanical Business Development

Ronald King has over 22 years of experience in the construction industry and currently serves as Vice President, Product Management, for Accubid Systems in Toronto, Canada. Prior to joining Accubid Systems, Ronald was employed by GEM Industrial of Toledo, Ohio as Mechanical Department Manager. Ronald also serves as Chairman of Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) Labor Estimating Manual (LEM), which is responsible for formulation of labor estimating units used in the mechanical construction industry.
