Privacy Policy

Accubid is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients, and the privacy of visitors to our website. We endeavor to limit the collection of personal or professional information, and we do not share information regarding our clients or visitors with any other company. Accubid has pledged to avoid making unsolicited or unwelcome contact with both clients and prospects, whether by phone, fax, or e-mail.

When visitors to our website download product demos or request demo CDs, we ask them to provide contact information so that we can follow up and assist them with their evaluation of the product. This is entirely voluntary—we do not require visitors to provide this information in order to complete the download.

Included on the contact information form are check boxes which allow visitors to indicate whether they wish to receive promotional e-mails from Accubid, or e-mails alerting them to a new issue of Extensions, Accubid’s monthly newsletter for contractors. By default, these check boxes are not selected, so that unless you check them, you will not receive such e-mails from Accubid. When promotional e-mails are sent out, each e-mail includes an unsubscribe option to allow recipients to remove themselves from our e-mail list.

Similarly, Accubid will not send a promotional fax to anyone, even a client, unless the person first completes and signs a consent form allowing us to do so.

We also ask for contact information when visitors to our website register for education courses or training labs, and when they sign up to be notified of new issues of Extensions. In these cases, the contact information is necessary to complete the registration or sign-up request.

Contact information provided to Accubid is stored as part of our client relationship management system, but is not shared with any other company. Accubid may from time to time make client service calls within regular working hours. Accubid may also make courtesy calls to prospects, but will do so infrequently, and only within regular working hours.

After a visitor to our website completes their demo or registration request, we place a cookie on their computer so that they do not have to complete the contact information form the next time they wish to submit a request. A cookie is a small text file that is transferred from a website to the hard drive of your computer so that the website may recognize you the next time you visit the site. If you do not wish to receive cookies, you can configure your browser to reject them.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding Accubid’s privacy policy, you can contact Accubid at 1-800-ACCUBID (222-8243).
